Safety Bulletin

Inspect your spindles! We have witnessed several spindle failures on modlites! These spindles were NOT manufactured by Peter D Motorsports, Inc.

Peter D Motorsports, Inc. has never had a spindle stub axle fail in 7 years of manufacturing spindles!

Check for hollow spindles with a wall thickness less than .090". Also check for spindles with no radius at the root of the spindle. The radius at the root should match the radius of the bearing race.

There are several spindles machined with a sharp corner at the root of the stub axle where the inner bearing seats.
